KENDA (Breeding)

A half-sister to the dam of 2024 Grade-1 Allen Jerkens Stakes winner DOMESTIC PRODUCT (now a Coolmore stallion), KENDA was purchased by Country Life for $70,000 at the 2023 Keeneland November sale, in foal to Speightstown’s Grade-1-winning son Olympiad. She produced a handsome big colt by Olympiad in 2024 at Country Life, then resorbed her pregnancy to Forte in 2025. For the 2026 foaling season, she is pregnant to the cover of Gun Runner’s son Cyberknife.

Since our purchase of KENDA, her produce record witnessed a huge update when her colt by City of Light placed in the 2024 Grade 1 Claiborne Breeders’ Futurity. After freshening, Filoso is working bullets at Saratoga, 4th best of 38 on August 9. Another son of Kenda, the Gun Runner colt Leading Contender, has increased earnings to $216,000. Clearly, KENDA can get a runner.  Her 2023 filly by Maxfield, a 2-year-old named Sono Bella, is working towards her debut in Kentucky this fall. She was purchased for $310,000 as a weanling.
