Our Mandaloun filly of Make Amends possesses all three qualities. First, she has the physique, the walk, the length of leg that foretells ability to cover ground.
Second, her folks. Her sire won the Kentucky Derby and her dam blazed through speed figures of 7’s and 8’s. Our confidence in her pedigree is boosted by her broodmare sire, Malibu Moon, who ranks No. 9 on the 2025 Broodmare Sire List, with a total of 100 stakes winners delivered by his daughters.
Thirdly, attitude. When this filly poses for a conformation photo, she stands proudly, emulating the confident pose of her sire Mandaloun in his conformation photos. She’s smart, and learns quickly. Racing success often depends on a horse’s ability to understand what is being asked. This filly has done all we’ve asked so far. She’s currently at the Middleburg Training Center getting Virginia-certified so we can take advantage of the MD-bred and VA-certified programs.
