Amant is a flashy chestnut from the first crop of G1 winner Collected, out of the stakes-placed Tapit mare Playful Love. He was purchased as a yearling for $55,000 from the Fasig-Tipton Kentucky July sale in 2021 and is in training at Merryland preparing for his 2-year-old debut later this year.
