GUN RUNNIN’ GAL
Gun Runner yearlings are in high demand, averaging almost $300,000 after the strong performances of his first-crop of runners in 2021. With two G1 winners already, and several headed to the Breeders Cup, expect his popularity to soar. His stud fee has been raised to $125,000 for 2022.
Country Life went to $100,000 for this balanced, correct filly out of the stakes-winning Malibu Moon mare Dress the Part, who is a full-sister to multiple G2-winner Onlyforyou and 1/2-sister to the dam of recent G3 Prix Daphnis winner Bellharbour Music. Dress the Part’s first foal is a winner and she has a 2-year-old filly by Tiznow in training. This is a “live” family.
Purchased for $100,000, we are offering 10 shares at no markup – $10,000/share.
Expenses are estimated to be around $350/month until she gets to the races at 2, when purse earnings could offset expenses.
