DIXIE DIVINE LLC
At the 2020 Keeneland January sale, Country Life purchased a lovely yearling filly for $36,000. She is the very first foal born in the first crop (Foals of 2019) by our exciting young Tapit son DIVINING ROD. She is also the first foal for her dam, DIXIE DANCER, who herself was a $460,000 Saratoga yearling and who is a 1/2-sister to Eclipse Champion filly She Be Wild. This is a “live” family, as DIXIE DANCER’S 1/2-sister SHE BE KEENE is the dam of a $140,000 colt by Connect who sold at the Feb. 11 Fasig-Tipton Kentucky mixed sale.
We’ve named the January 16, 2019, filly DIXIE DIVINE, after her sire and dam. She is a beautiful filly with balance and scope. Our goal is to have DIXIE DIVINE be early to the races next summer as a 2-year-old.
DIXIE DIVINE foaled here at Country Life for her breeder Gainesway Farm. She is both Maryland-Bred and Maryland Million-eligible, so she’ll be running for the 30% Owner Bonuses in Maryland.
